JOHN O'BRIEN

CEO

John was appointed inaugural General Manager for the Trust in 2008. He is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and whilst in Auckland worked for KPMG Chartered Accountants(6yrs) and NZ Guardian Trust as a Trust Manager(16yrs). He is passionate about his current role in growing the value of the Trust's assets for the benefit of all the Trust's shareholders and beneficiaries. John holds a number of governance positions including as Chairman of Maori Investments Limited. He is also a member of the NZ Institute of Directors.
