CHAIRMAN

Tiaki was reappointed as a Trustee in 2022 following a stint with Fonterra. He previously served as a Trustee of Putauaki Trust from 2006 to 2017 including as Chairman from 2012 to 2017.  He has a wealth of experience in the Corporate ,Primary and Maori sectors and is actively involved in Iwi Economic development with a wide range of Commercial entities in Ngati Awa as well as being the CEO of Maori Investments Limited.

ALAENA KIRIWAITINGI PETI REI

DEPUTY CHAIRMAN

Kiriwaitingi was appointed a Trustee in 2012 having previously served as the Trusts first Associate Trustee.  Kiriwaitingi was born and raised in Rotorua and has strong Whakapapa connections to Te Pahipoto. She was previously the Head of Maori Alliances for Zespri and also the previous CEO of Maori Investments Limited and she brings legal expertise to the Trust, together with extensive knowledge of the Primary Sector including Forestry, Geothermal, Agribusiness, Property and Tourism.

ERIC TITI ERUERA

TRUSTEE

Eric was appointed Trustee in 2014 also having previously served as an Associate Trustee.  Eric has strong associations with his Marae and Hapu Te Pahipoto.  He is an Engineer by Trade and brings to the Trust extensive knowledge of the Primary sector including Agribusiness, Project Management and Health & Safety. He is currently Operations Manager for the Trust.

MAREWA BURGESS

TRUSTEE

Marewa commonly known to all as Pet has been with the Trust since 2008.  Born and raised in Te Teko Pet has strong ties to the Community, her Marae and Hapu.  She has many years experience working with Maori Trusts with a background in Financial Administration and operations.  Pet is passionate about Maori economic development and committed to serving the needs of the Trust and its Shareholders..

REX KEVIN LAWRENCE O'BRIEN

TRUSTEE

Rex is the newest Trustee on the board having been appointed in 2022. Rex has had strong associations with the community of Te Teko having served on a number of Te Teko entities over 40 years including the Te Teko Rugby and Golf Clubs. He currently works for Oji Fibre Solutions whom he has been with for 42 years and has held a number of senior leadership roles for the company.
